The concept is that the flute represents the otherworldly voice, angelic or divine, with which the soul, in moments of transcendence, holds its spiritual dialogue. There's no doubt about the beauty of Behle's singing or his remarkable ability to hint at subtle shifts of meaning with each repetition.
